Today’s hospital operating rooms and other specializedtreatment rooms have booms suspended from the ceiling that hold everything frommonitors to robotic arms, as seen in the picture on the left. So what holds those up? Steel.
Reliant Building Solutions routinely fabricates and installs the steel that a boom will attach to. The picture on the right shows the plate which will hold a boom anchored to the structure of the hospital by steel we have welded into place. The placement of our steel must be precise in order for the boom to operate as the surgeons, nurses and technicians require.
